How to give TREV access to your social media channels
If you have chosen our done for you social media management, then to manage your social media professionally and securely, we need access to your business social media accounts. This access is business-level only and can be removed at any time.
Facebook & Instagram
(via Meta Business Manager)
What we need access to
- Your Facebook Page
- Your Instagram account (connected via Meta Business Manager)
This does not give us access to your personal Facebook profile.

- Creating and scheduling posts
- Managing content on your Facebook Page
- Publishing content to your Instagram account
What we will NOT have access to
- Your personal Facebook profile
- Personal messages
- Personal Facebook activity

Use your personal Facebook login. Meta requires this, even though we only manage business assets.

-
Enter Our Business Portfolio ID (our business is Realview)
Realview Business Portfolio ID:
1726794424254926
Assign Assets
Grant access to:
- Facebook Page(s): Admin or Content access
-
Instagram account(s)
-
Save Changes
Once saved, we receive access immediately.
Instagram Only Businesses
If your Instagram account is not yet connected to Business Manager:
- We may ask you to connect your Instagram account to your Facebook Page first
- We will guide you through this if required
Why Access Is Set Up This Way
Meta requires business assets (Pages and Instagram accounts) to be managed through Business Manager. This approach:
- Keeps your personal account private
- Allows clean, professional access
- Makes it easy to add or remove agencies
- Is Meta’s recommended best practice
Google Business Profile
What we need access to
- Manager access to your Google Business Profile
What we will have access to
With Manager access, we can:
- Publish posts and updates
- Upload images and videos
- Add offers, events, and announcements
-
Keep your profile active and up to date
What we will NOT have access to
- We cannot delete your business
- We cannot transfer ownership
- We cannot remove owners
- We do not access your personal Google account
How to grant access (Step-by-Step)
-
Log in to Google using the account that manages your business
- Go to: https://business.google.com/
-
Select your business profile
-
Click More / Settings → Business Profile Settings → Managers
-
Click Add
-
Enter our email address:
google@therealestatevoice.com.au
- Assign Manager access
How Google Business Profile Works
Google Business Profiles are linked to Google email accounts, not to a separate business entity like Facebook Business Manager.
- One Google account is the Owner
-
Other Google accounts are added as Managers or Owners
We recommend that you remain the Owner, and we are added as a Manager
Why Access Is Set Up This Way
This approach:
- Keeps ownership with you at all times
- Allows us to manage posts safely and professionally
- Avoids sharing passwords
- Makes it easy to change agencies or staff in the future
